Kids are our passion!
Every person who works in our office is kid-specialist. Our Norcross office serves only children under 20, and we have crafted an environment that caters to the unique aspects of dentistry for kids. Everything in our office – the decor, the waiting room options, the terminology we use to explain procedures, the names were given to our equipment, etc. – is calculated to provide a great experience for kid-clients. We also want to serve the whole family, though, so in our Albany office, we have expanded to offer thorough care to clients of all ages!
Flexibility and accessibility are core values for us! We know that, as a family, you have a lot to juggle, and we want to work with your schedule. We can accommodate same-day appointments, and we also take walk-in patients. It’s important to us to be available for your family!
Keeping costs affordable for patients of all backgrounds matters to us! Because we believe that every child deserves dental care, we serve a highly diverse patient base and accept most insurance, including Medicaid.
Every patient is important to us! Your family deserves thorough individual care every time you come for an appointment. In order to make sure that every patient receives what they need, we maintain a large staff (3 dentists and 5 hygienists as well as reception staff) in each office.
Our commitment to full staffing often enables us to provide same-day restorative care for cavities or other difficulties that we discover during cleaning, saving you that second trip to the dentist.
Teamwork and partnership are other key pieces of who we are. To make sure that we are meeting your child’s potential orthodontic needs, we’ve partnered with MH Orthodontics for orthodontic needs. MH Orthodontics shares our belief that every child, regardless of background or income, deserves a beautiful smile. We currently offer metal, ceramic, and Invisalign braces. We also partner with All-Star Anesthesia to facilitate IV sedation needs. We understand that going to the dentist can be scary for kids. That’s why we offer IV sedation administered by a Board Certified anesthesiologist. IV sedation is a form of anesthesia that relaxes your child, calming their nerves and providing a more pleasant experience for them. IV sedation is carefully monitored and can be adjusted throughout the visit to best suit the needs of your child.
Finally, Vital Smiles proudly offers oral surgery. Our on-site oral surgeon, performs basic surgical procedures like root canals, wisdom teeth extractions, fillings, and crowns in a comfortable, non-threatening environment. We offer a consultation before the surgery, so you can ask your questions or voice concerns, and we can explain the process to you.
